The post holder may have developed the required competencies from a range of different routes and therefore applications are welcome from those with, for example, nurse clinician, social work or applied psychology backgrounds.
The post holder will be expected to be primarily within the F CAMHS NW team, based at the GMMH Prestwich site. The post holder will be expected to provide expert consultation to referrers and direct assessment and intervention to children, young people, their families and carers.
The post holder will form part of a team that works closely with the senior managers and clinicians to maintain a trauma informed system that supports mental health and well-being of the team and influences the systems of governance and management around them.
