Role Overview & Responsibilities

Squirrel Hotels is a family-owned company including four hotels, two in the North of England, one in the Lake District and one in the Forest of Dean.

Hall Garth Hotel, Darlington are looking for Housekeeping staff to join our team.

A stunning period property at it’s heart and modern extensions increasing the capacity of the hotel, Hall Garth Darlington offers both traditional and contemporary guest experiences. Standing in 70 acres of parkland that includes an acclaimed Par 73 golf course and leisure club, this wonderful hotel is also conveniently located just off the A1 at junction 59.

Working 16 hours across 3/4 days per week, the housekeeping assistant reports directly to our head housekeeper and liases with the reception and maintenance team. The position will include some weekend work depending on demand. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred however, full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for working in all areas of the housekeeping department duties include ensuring hotel bedrooms and public areas are cleaned and checked to the highest standards required at all times.

• Housekeeping experience is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Delivery of consistently high levels service and calmness under pressure.
