Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Installation and commissioning of new Biobank and Compound Management Systems
- Training and technical advice to our customers
- Performing regular maintenance work
- Repair services in the event of a fault
- Independent planning, execution, and documentation of the work
- Introduction of corrective and preventive measures
Qualifications:
- A degree in technical engineering or an equal technical education
- Preferably a background in the Life Science market
- Professional experience in a similar position is an advantage
- Accustomed to working independently
- Customer-oriented and at the same time entrepreneurial thinking
- You work reliably under time pressure, flexible and resilient
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Interface with cross-functional work teams such as R&D, Customer Service, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales
The candidate shall preferably be based in the greater Oxford area to reach customers and an international airport in a short time. The position involves international travel up to 80%. The focus is the United Kingdom and Europe. Other regions may be assigned based on business needs. Assignments may be for subsequent weeks.
