Production Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Yard Labourer at Harlow Bros in Long Whatton This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established team.

Harlow’s has over 90 years’ experience in Timber, Engineered Timber, Manufactured Buildings and more. With 13 locations across the UK and over 500 employees, from manufacture to merchanting, Harlow’s have the expertise to advise, supply and support you in any project or build.

We are looking for someone with the following experience/qualifications:

• Timber knowledge and experience is not necessary this would be advantageous.

• Hard working

• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

• Team player

• Able to work under instruction at all times

• Work effectively with teams within the department and carry out manual work

• Adhering to strict Health & Safety regulations

The hours of work are 7:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 7:30 to 15:00 Friday.

As a Labourer your primary responsibilities would be:

• Assist skilled personnel

• General maintenance & housekeeping

• Presenting product for delivery

• Correctly label packs for delivery

• Feed or take timber from machines

• Ensure products are properly stored
