Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and have experience in supporting vulnerable children and families? If so HDFT are welcoming applications to join the 0-19 service as a Child Lived Experience practitioner to join the Wakefield District. Using a range of age appropriate engagement tool kits through words and pictures the practitioner will advocate and represent the child's view of their lived experience. Under the delegated responsibility of the safeguarding nurse the engagement work will directly inform and contribute to the current safeguarding risk assessment. The Child Lived Experience practitioner will undertake a trauma informed care approach as part of a safeguarding skill mix team.
