Our vision is to support the delivery of exceptional healthcare through our partnership working. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our finance team.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is actively studying towards an Accountancy / Finance degree and is seeking a placement role for circa 2 year to support their studies and to gain work experience. We will provide study support towards accountancy qualifications such as AAT, CIMA, and ACCA etc.

This role assists the Finance team, in providing financial and business information to clinical and non-clinical colleagues, to enable budget managers to effectively and efficiently manage budgets and to support development of strategies to improve financial performance. Also to assist the financial service function in ensuring all financial accounting processes are completed accurately and within the deadlines set out in the monthly timetable.

The successful candidate will be a student actively studying towards an Accountancy and / or Finance degree, keen to gain work experience in an area relevant to their degree studies and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work to deadlines. The role requires effective team working abilities, working with a range of different stakeholders, along with the ability to learn from others.
