Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you looking for an assistant psychologist role with direct supervision from a clinical psychologist and a variety of experience and opportunities? If so this may be the perfect role for you. This role will give you an insight and experience in working in a busy CAMHS team developing your skills as an assistant psychologist working with children and young people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health illness. We will offer you access to clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist and line management supervision as well as internal training that will enhance your skills. Our aim is to support you in gaining the experience required to progress in your career. You will carry a small caseload and work both autonomously and within a wider MDT under the supervision and support from your supervisor. We are looking for colleagues with experience of engaging children and/or experience as an assistant psychologist in other areas.
