Tailor / Sewist

Dee’s Dry Cleaners have been established for over 30 years and have a reputation for the standard of our work and excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced sewer or tailor to join our team in Thatcham, Berkshire. The shop also provides alterations and repair services for all aspects of ladies and men’s tailoring including general repairs and restyling.

• Alter both ladies & gents’ garments

• Altering curtains and cushions

• Repairing zips

• Have an understanding of different types of materials

• 3 years’ experience required of alteration and sewing

• Reliable, hardworking and trustworthy

• Marking fitting on customers and making necessary alterations

• Ability to repair by hand or machine, making buttonholes and sewing of fasteners and trimmings

• Any other transferable skill will be advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
