About us

Hukins Hops is a fruit farm business specialising in hops for the brewing industry. We also operate environmental projects on the wider estate, run public tours on hops and beer, operate a hop decoration business and have an on site brewery, tap room and restaurant business.

The primary role is to support the farm manager with all aspects of hop growing on a modern hop farm growing, processing and producing hops for the beer industry. This will include crop spraying, soil cultivation, plant health, soil health, hop harvesting and processing. During the winter the work involved includes, bine cutting, stringing and hop garden repairs as well as general estate management. Some experience on top fruit would be ideal. General farming experience is required as a minimum.

Skills desired:

· English (good) required

· General farming experience

· Tractor Driving

· PA 1,2,3 (ideally qualified)

· Use of cultivation equipment

· Forklift experience

· Mowing

· Fencing/Ditching/Estate Management

· Chainsaw experience

· Flexible hours at harvest

· 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

· Own transport
