HGV Class 1 Recovery Drivers
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Igloo is currently recruiting for HGV class 1 drivers for one of our clients based in Nottingham. Our clients are a nationwide recovery company who deal with helping drivers who have broken down vehicles at the roadside 365 days a year.
You will be required to collect vehicles that have not be able to get started by the mechanics, you will then have to take the customers vehicle to a chosen location for repair.
About the Job
- Collecting vehicles from the roadside, driving a flatbed recovery truck
- Dealing with customers who might be upset, angry, afraid, or impatient
- Taking the vehicle to a chosen destination
- Giving excellent customer service
What we are looking for
- Hold a UK HGV Class 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months
- Have an up-to-date CPC and Digi card
- No more then 6 Points for minor offences
- Be a Confident driver
- Have good communication skills as you will be dealing with all types of customers
- Happy to work in all weather conditions
- Be able to pass a background check and a credit check
