Are you a highly organised office professional with great people and IT skills and a love of ITV News?


We have a rare opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join the ITV News Channel news team in Jersey on a permanent basis.


As our Production Coordinator, you will provide confidential administrative support to the Head of News, Operations Manager and management team to ensure the smooth running of our busy news and programmes operation.


You’ll be a key point of contact for the wider ITV management team, managing diaries, arranging meetings, drafting correspondence, organising events as well as judging urgent priorities with confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.


Our Production Coordinator is also at the heart of supporting our news journalists and production specialists booking travel, accommodation and facilities on a daily basis.


As the first point of contact for many of our visitors, you’ll have a welcoming manner and know how to get the best out of people. You’ll also manage our induction and our talent development programmes and assist in our recruitment process for both editorial and technical roles.


A site services function will be an important part of your responsibilities where you will coordinate routine maintenance and supplies at our digital broadcast centre in Jersey. You’ll also be trained as a super user of our business administration systems to help you manage budgets, invoices and orders.


To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the Minimum role criteria:

  • Strong IT G Suite skills with the ability to write correspondence as well as create forms, surveys & presentations.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritise and delegate as appropriate.
  • A self starter demonstrating the ability to use initiative and judgement to deal with sometimes complex questions and issues as they occur
