Freelance Archivist
The Jack Petchey Foundation are seeking someone with appropriate professional expertise to work on a freelance basis to create a lasting legacy by ensuring that the life and work of Sir Jack Petchey is ordered into an accessible archive and deposited at an appropriate public records office.
This is an exciting time to undertake this work as the Foundation approach their 25th birthday in 2024. As Sir Jack (age 98) has retired from the day-to-day management of his businesses and charitable activity. The Jack Petchey Foundation and Petchey family recognise the need to preserve some form of historic records in order to capture the history, the spirit and values of the man and be able to communicate this to future generations.
It is expected that this freelance role will take up to three months full time (we are also open to a part time role).
