Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you looking for a temp to perm role in a manual environment? JRS are looking for a Machine Shop Operative for our fabulous manufacturing client in Farnham!
This role will include heavily lifting, being on your feet all day and ensuring manufactured components are ready for despatch.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
- Working within the production area working with large parts
- Checking against engineering drawings
- Use of machinery to ensure components are ready as per customer request
- Providing written documentation of finished products
- Quality checking of finished product
Required Skills
- Experience of working within a production/manufacturing environment preferrable
- Ability to read written instructions
- Able to work with large metals and able to lift and move around
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Benefits included
- Starting hourly rate of £10.42 per hour
- Temp position for up to 3 weeks
- Day shift hours 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
- Weekly pay
- Working 39 hours per week

- Early finish on a Friday
