Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're seeking a Telecommunications cabling Engineer, who is willing to learn new skills and join our team of skilled engineers.
As a telecommunications Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for installing both copper and fibre optic network cabling infrastructures in a wide variety of buildings across both the public and private sectors including the provision of Fibre to the Home services within the south west.
Using our excellent installation standards and attention to detail, whilst following the installation design drawings and specification, you will take great pride in delivering high quality consistent and compliant installations to meet our customers expectation.
No previous experience required but is desired, must have a good Work ethic and have a will to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Copper and Fibre cable termination, fibre optic fusion splicing inclusive of testing using the latest network infrastructure test equipment.
- Installation of all cable containment systems including PVC and galvanised steel trunking
- network cabling installations(cat5,cat6,cat6A)
- installing,congfiguring access points
- installing CCTV
Job Types: Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Salary: £80.00-£130.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
