Grounds Maintenance

We are a landscape and gardening service company based on Anglesey. Established over 20 years, we cover domestic and commercial contracts in the local area.

The position covers all aspects of grounds maintenance. The role in the main season is predominantly grass cutting. The operative is expected to use a range of machinery such as pedestrian/ride on mowers, strimmers, blowers and other gardening equipment. Other occasional duties may include litter picking, hedge cutting, leaf clearing and general garden maintenance duties. Outside of the grass cutting season the position covers general landscape and gardening duties. Firewood processing.

Working week is 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday, March to October. Extra time available at weekends if wanted. Rest of year 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday, November - February.

Applicants need to be familiar and comfortable working in a physically demanding role and willing to work in all inclement weather conditions.

Applicants need to be able to work as a team or on their own. Have strong communication skills. We expect the highest standards of quality for our customers and our representatives are expected to provide and execute these standards and services.

The position requires applicant to be able to drive company vehicles and also to tow trailers carrying equipment. Previous grass cutting experience is essential. Horticultural knowledge and experience would be beneficial.

Full clean drivers license.

PA1 and PA6 Spraying licence (preferred).

Chainsaw handling certificates and experience (preferred).
