JCB is growing. With our Hydrogen and E-Tech electric machines, we are meeting the need for greater sustainability and energy efficiency in a changing market—and our order books are at record levels.

Right now, we are looking for new Purchasing Managers to help us meet increased demand.

This role will be based at either JCB World Headquarters, or a local Staffordshire based satellite site.

Role overview

You will be responsible for a team who will manage a global supplier base and negotiate the purchase of components at the lowest possible cost so that we can meet budgeting targets for new JCB machines.

• Lead effective supplier engagement
• Asses risk and shield us from Supply Chain disruption
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve supplier issues
• Manage teams and resources.

About you

Ideally, you’ll come from a Business or Engineering background and have significant experience of global sourcing within Purchasing in a Manufacturing context. We’re looking for:

• Ability to influence
• Negotiating skills.
