General Operative – Warehouse

What's the role about?

Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Transport Manager, you will work with a team of Warehouse Partners performing an array of Warehouse activities, to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, pick and dispatch of raw materials, consumables & finished products to feed manufacturing operations and customer demand, contributing to the overall achievement of branch KPI’s.

This role is a permanent position based at our textile factory in Darwen, Lancashire. The role is on site with working hours Monday - Friday. Hours can be discussed at the interview stage. This is a full time opportunity.

What you will be doing?

• Picking products from the warehouse to be taken to the sales floor.

• Ensuring that products are kept flowing and stocked at all times.

• Supporting other sections within the department as and when required.

• Performing any other duties as required by managers.

• Contributing to a safe working environment by being up to date on all H&S training requirements

• Strong time keeping skills

• A great eye for detail

What else can you bring?

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment.

• Previous experience working with wave trucks.
