Shop Assistant (Full Time)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to joint our team who is friendly and loves animals.

The role is a general shop assistant job working across the pet, horse and garden departments. No detailed knowledge required, with training to be provided, but prefer an interest in animals (pets/horses).

The role includes:

· Operating the till and taking payments

· Helping to answer customer queries

· Ensuring the shelves and the shop are tidy

· Putting out stock, stock rotation and checking delivery notes

· Work as part of a team with other departments in the shop.

John Toomer & Sons Ltd is a family run business established in 1850 and is Swindon’s third longest standing business.

At our Lydiard Millicent, Swindon site, we’re a garden centre, pet, farm and horse feed supplier.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: From £9.75 per hour
