Java PL/SQL Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase , you'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Job Responsibilities:

• Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
• Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs - Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
• Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
• Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
• Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency
• The role is for a talented Axiom Application Developer Regulatory Reporting team.
• Candidate will be a part of a dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, learn, design and implement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Technical expertise in Java, Python, Unix and modern programming paradigms is required.
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
• Relational data modelling using Oracle SQL Developer

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Experience in Axiom would be desirable.
