Fresh Produce Team Member

K.D.Davis & Sons are a Fourth Generation family Greengrocers supplying fresh produce to residential homes, Hotels, Schools, Restaurants and everywhere in-between.

We are looking for an energetic personal shopper to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of our fresh produce.

You will operate in our warehouse to carefully pick and pack our customers orders. The successful candidates will be picking orders for a broad range of our customers including individual households, Restaurants, Schools, Hotels and everywhere in-between.

40 Hours per week
Monday, Wednesday, Thurday, Friday & Saturday (2am to 10am)

We expect you to be picky when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders.

Responsibilities

• Check and put away incoming produce
• Pick orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy and packing sensibly in our bespoke boxes
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading area
• Wrap pallet orders before loading on to our vans
• Re-stock inventory manually, Lifting up to 25kg sacks of potatoes.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of the different varieties of fruit and vegetables
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Able to read and write in English
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Good physical strength and stamina
