Mechanical Engineer

Preferably experienced in the corrugated industry, the mechanical engineer’s primary role is to join our engineering & electrical team on the offload, installation, removal and loading of both new and used packaging machinery at our customer’s sites. As installation / removal involves travelling on a national and international basis there is an element of time spent
staying away, very occasionally including weekends and often at short notice so the ability to be flexible is an essential part of the job. The client also offer our customers a breakdown and machinery service plan which is carried out in between installations. There is also an element of refurbishment of used equipment at our Milton Keynes factory. A fork lift licence, working at height licence, welding and machining experience would be an
advantage but are not essential as qualifications can be taken once employment commences.

 Hourly pay based on a 37.5 hour week (08.00 – 16.00, 15 minute tea break and 45
minute lunch break)
 Overtime paid at 1.5 Monday – Saturday and 2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays
 PPE and company logo workwear provided
 £30.00 daily food allowance while staying away overnight
 £25.00 overnight allowance while staying away
 Paid accommodation while staying away
