Cambridge or remote-working Policy & Public Affairs Officer for an education charity
The Policy & Public Affairs Officer role:
- To be responsible for delivering the public policy-influencing work
- To achieve impact by influencing policymakers and stakeholders and to support evidence-based system change, building on the learning from the programmes.
- To work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, develop and deliver an advocacy strategy at relevant government and sector stakeholders levels for the work across its programmatic areas.
The Policy & Public Affairs Officer candidate:
- A self-starter, able to drive the delivery of an influencing strategy and create relationships that have the potential to deliver regional and national impact. Also, motivated by our charitable vision, mission, values and programmes.
- Has experience in influencing public policy, can build effective relationships and shares our passion for achieving change.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining collaborations with a wide range of partners. Together with the experience of developing policy positions and articulating these convincingly to decision-makers and stakeholders.
