About the role
We're recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team, at our site in Sherburn in Elmet. This role offers £13.62 per hour.
Shifts Pattern:
06:00 – 18:00 Wednesday – Friday (3 days)
2 days off
18:00 – 06:00 Sunday - Tuesday (3 nights)
5 days off
06:00 – 18:00 Monday and Tuesday (2 days)
18:00 – 06:00 Wednesday and Thursday (2 nights)
5 days off
The warehouse operatives are responsible for all warehouse operations and duties across the shift and are responsible for the materials and accuracy of stock within the warehouse.
We are looking for an individual who has experience within the warehouse environment and preferably has flexi truck and counterbalance experience.
- To support the business with its health, safety, and environmental responsibilities by reporting hazard spots and near misses.
- Material handling equipment is always sufficiently charged and available for use, reporting any faults or damage immediately to the Manager.
- To load and unload vehicles promptly and to adhere to the weekly/daily plan.
- Ensuring goods are booked accurately and immediately from receipt of delivery.
- Finished goods and returns are moving constantly and HHFBES is kept accurate at all times, investigating and reporting any discrepancies to the Manager immediately.
- Ensure production lines do not stop. Check and ensure stock is allocated correctly to relevant work orders,
- Good Communication Skills
- Counterbalance and Flexi Truck experience is preferred however training may be available.
- Warehouse Experience is essential
- Good IT Skills
- Food Safety Level 2
