Editorial & Production Intern

Klarents Media is a leading specialist contract publisher of event guides, directories and magazines for exhibitions and associations around the world. We are currently seeking an Editorial & Production Intern to help us on a full-time basis.

The role will start as soon as possible in May and run for around 6 months-1 year. This is a temporary role to help us through a particularly busy period, but there is the possibility of extension to a longer-term or permanent position, depending on the department workload in the future.

The successful candidate will be providing vital support to the production team and wider office. Main duties will include proofreading, chasing in advertising artwork, responding to customer enquiries, handling booking forms and invoices, and processing data. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and great communication skills (over telephone and email), who takes the initiative and is professional in all areas of their work, as well as being a great team player. The role would suit a graduate or freelancer looking for experience in a busy publishing environment.
