Concierge Security Team Leader

Kopek Security Ltd are an award-winning provider of manned and canine assisted security services nationally. We are an SIA Approved Contractor with our NSI Guarding Silver and ERS AFC Silver award. We offer a broad range of services which include security dog teams, detection dogs’ teams, security guards, stewards, close protection officers, keyholding, alarm response, mobile patrols, event security.

We are looking, to recruit a Professional Security Team Leader to provide Security Services at a site in the Birmingham City Centre. All Site details to be disclosed once screening and vetting has been completed.

We expect our Security Officers to be ambassadors, acting as role models, being upbeat about Kopek Security Ltd and the Security Industry.

The role of Security Officer is based in a customer focused position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Kopek Security Ltd have Various roles across the entire site of a bustling City Centre Theatre.

Successful candidates, will have experience working in a customer/client focused environment, must have excellent communication skills. Ideal candidate would have previous experience dealing with bag searches, ticket checks, using a scanner/ radio, Production Intervals and dispersing large crowds of people.

Various Day and Night shifts available for full or part time roles

Applicants must be highly experienced in customer service, conflict management and safeguarding. This is a public facing role. Successful applicants will be friendly & smart, with a real can-do attitude.

Our requirements as standard are the following:

* Be Smart and Presentable always, be alert, visible and commanding security presence

* Be always polite and approachable to staff/visitors

* Be punctual and reliable

* Be smart & professional

* Access and Egress Control

* Assist with evacuation procedure in the event of fire

* Writing complete and accurate incident reports

* Conducting shift handovers at the start/end of each shift

* Manning all entrance and exits

* Patrols and welfare support

* Excellent Communication and customer focus skills

* Problem Solving

* Excellent written and Verbal communication skills

* Experience with Reception and Concierge

Qualifications and Necessary Experience

* SIA Door Supervisor Licence (as a minimum)

* Have excellent customer service skills

Remuneration and Benefits

* Monthly pay cycle either PAYE or as a sole trader providing a UTR number.

Hours of work is dependant on how many productions are sold each shift can range from 5-8hrs per day more at weekends and over seasonal periods. This role would suit semi retired, parental share or someone wanting to top up their current role. we can currently offer 40hrs max.

All applicants will be screened and vetted to BS 7858 standards and complete 5-year checkable work history governed by Experian (Not to be credit checked)

All potential candidates must attend a Face-to-Face interview.

Second Stage - Successful Candidate(s) must attend a further appointment for site introduction, complete a site assessment, be placed in a suitable role and shift pattern. Once, completed sign out your uniform before commencing your first shift.
