Vineyard Tour Guide

A rare and exciting Vineyard Tour Guide opportunity at Llanerch Vineyard Hotel, the AA’s Hotel of the Year Wales 2022-23.

We are looking for a Vineyard Tour Guide to join the team, no experience is required as all training is provided. You must be passionate about wine and eager to learn about how Llanerch serves and the history of its award winning Cariad Wines.

Located in a beautiful Welsh village, Llanerch Vineyard has a reputation for creating high-quality, award-winning wines. Llanerch has five varieties of wine, all of which feature on our menus and are available to buy exclusively onsite.

Our 20-cover Tasting Lodge, which was built in spring 2022, creates an informal, informative and entertaining vineyard tour & tastings led by experts who have a compelling passion for wine.

Vineyard Tours run all year (even in the winter). During the winter the tours & tastings are conducted inside with an option of a self visit/walk of the vineyard after the tour .During the summer the tours are conducted with a mixture of wine tasting inside and outside, in our vineyard.

It is a part time positions including weekends and bank holidays with a competitive hourly rate of £11.50 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

· Present confidently in front of large groups.

· Have some understanding of wine and what is made of.

· Maintain a high standard of professionalism.

· Be excited to learn about wine processing and service.

· Create a fun and informal experience for our guests.
