Investment Analyst - Life Sciences
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Exciting and unique role working for a pan- European platform who are a leading developer, operator and asset manager in life sciences. In this position you will work directly with the Managing Director and the Chief Investment Offices to support analysing and underwriting potential new investments.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the UK leadership to research investment ideas
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative due diligence on existing and new investments and make recommendations to the team
- Building, inputting, and amending excel based cash flow models
- Performing various analyses to assist in making investment decisions
- Preparing presentation materials including Investment Committee Memos.
- Working with the development and asset management teams to regularly review investment performance.
- Liaise with third parties, including consultants, advisers and external managers
- Build industry networks and contacts to bring new opportunities
Key skills and qualifications:
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, you need to build excel models from scratch.
- Ability to source deals from scratch once established
- Life science experience isn’t necessary, however you should have an interest in this growing sector
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UK & Europe
