Real Estate Analyst - Private Equity, Asset Management Team

Global RE Private Equity with a well established portfolio of Commercial assets across the UK and Europe are looking for a very bright and numerate Analyst to work on the Asset Management team. You will assist the team with all Asset Management and Divestment initiatives, running the numbers that allow them to make decisions about Investment into the portfolio, hold/sell decisions, Capex spend, etc. You will also do reporting to their Investment partners. It’s a busy and fast paced team and will suit people who want to grow their career in a leading PE business.
Responsibilities include:

• Proving analysis contributing to the definition of the asset strategy, the preparation of the annual business plans
• Set-up financial models (DCF)
• Contribute to the preparation and the monitoring of the asset budgets (revenues, opex and capex) coordinating with the property managers or asset operators
• Monitor external valuations
• Monitor asset KPI’s and contribute to reporting of the investors
• Contribute to the supervision of tenancy issues, claims and potential law suits with legal advisors
• Contribute to the implementation of the marketing and letting strategy
• Contribute to the monitoring of refurbishment or development programs coordinating with internal and/or external development experts.
• Assist in the preparation of disposals (data room, valuation, RFP, etc...)

• 18 months - 3 years RE Industry experience
• Excellent excel skills – the ability to build complex cash flows is essential
• Understanding of legislations and/or financial techniques relating to real estate assets and investments
• Strong analytical skills
