Barista/All Rounder

We are a busy family run Deli cafe in the centre of York serving brunch, lunch, cakes & lots of local takeaway produce!

We are seeking a part-time hard-working, enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our team here at Mannetti's Deli. The job will be part-time initially to include weekend work varying 1-2 days a week. Although during busier times and during the holidays, there will be the opportunity to pick up more shifts.

The ideal candidate will be personable, friendly and confident in their abilities. You must passionate about food and committed to providing the best possible customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanour. You must have an eye for detail and be knowledgeable about the products we sell. It is essential that you will have barista experience. You must be a team player and work well in a small team under pressure and have the ability to keep calm and organised as we do get exceptionally busy very fast.

Duties will include (but not limited to): making and serving coffee, packaging deli counter items (home cooked products, cakes, cheeses, meats, olives etc), plating cakes, table service, maintaining a clean working environment throughout the day, kitchen assistance when needed, dealing with customers queries with confidence, washing up, operating the till, a full and thorough clean down at the end of each day. You must use your initiative and keep busy whilst on shift, without cues.

Please note, this is a permanent job role leading to the opportunity to pick up more shifts during busier times. You MUST be available to work during the summer holidays, Christmas holidays and have availability both weekends days.
