Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job role: Night Deputy Shift Manager, 4on 4off
Salary: £32k-33k per annum
Location: Camberley
Shift pattern: 4on 4off, 10:30pm-9am
We have an excellent opportunity for an energised a Deputy Night Manager to join our team in our Camberley depot. Our team play an important role in supporting our business to deliver world-class service and time-critical parcels to our customers located throughout the United Kingdom.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
- Maintain quality standards
- Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
- Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager
- Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
- Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
- Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
- Management of the end to end warehouse functions and processes
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
WHAT YOU NEED
- Previous Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
- A good approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
- A common-sense approach to problem-solving
- Computer literate
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines
- Great communication skills
