About the role.

We are an early-stage startup looking for a Python developer with GPT experience to come in and take ownership of our AI platform. As one of our first hires, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the product and the company.

This is a full-time or part-time role based in London. Our team is mostly distributed, but we meet frequently in the city. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities.

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements.

• Excellent knowledge of Python.
• Experienced with developing and implementing server-side logic, managing databases, and integrating with external APIs.
• Experienced with designing and implementing APIs.
• Strong experience with GPT and NLP technologies, including hands-on experience with OpenAI's GPT models.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have.

• Experience in the financial industry or working on financial software.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with other AI and machine learning technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary: £40,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
