General Operative/ Relief Cleaner

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Onion Processor and Relief Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for blowing, trimming, bagging, and packing onions to fulfill orders as per customer specifications and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the general cleanliness and tidiness of non-production areas on both Goldwood and MBC.

Responsibilities:

• Work well within a team and communicate with team members
• Prepare onions and other products as guided by your Line Manager
• Lift trays of product
• Ensure the product is of the expected quality
• Be able to work long hours when on shift
• Live within a commutable distance of Moulton, Spalding
• Be able to get to and from work independently
• Follow procedures and work to deadlines
• Ensure all chemicals used are stored and measured correctly
• Replenish all sanitizing products such as soaps, hand disinfectants, and toilet rolls
• Sign off all relevant paperwork by area in accordance with the stated frequency
• Alert management when supplies are running low
• Help management meet and maintain the requirements of the BRC standard
• Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business
