Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Catering Manager will lead, develop, implement and maintain effective management of an efficient, high quality and cost-effective Catering Service at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary that meets the needs of patients, staff and visitors and fulfils the objectives of the Sector in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations and Codes of Practice for Caterers.
You will lead the continuous development of quality Catering service provision and staff development. To provide guidance, support and manage the implementation of continuous service, specific developments, enabling the effective management of day-to-day operational activity. Demonstrating a patient focused approach to service provision, the post holder will ensure the cost effective delivery of high quality services.
The Post Holder should hold Intermediate Food Hygiene / Catering Experience / Degree in Hospitality preferred / Managerial Experience – 3 years
