Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Practitioner in the CAMHS Crisis Team.
The CAMHS Crisis Team’s purpose is to provide Crisis response, home treatment, duty cover, admission avoidance and the self harm pathway. The service also aims to facilitate discharge from hospital and assist children and young people to re engage with their local community.
This is a fast moving team, responding to young people facing crisis - candidates would need to be dynamic, responsive and excellent communicators
This role is work within the CAMHS Crisis Team to include triage, assessment, risk management, and home treatment.
To provide consultation, supervision and support to other clinical members of the team who provide care and treatment.
NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
