Weekend Cashier/Till Operator - Notcutts St Albans Garden Centre

Weekend position available: 12 hours per weekend. Additional hours may be available during peak trading times.

Salary £6.83 - £9.90

Notcutts is a family owned National Garden Centre group.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to work as a till operator/cashier at the weekend on a temporary fixed term basis within our St Albans Garden Centre. Additional hours may also be available during busy trading times.

As a Cashier/Retail Assistant working in Notcutts, you will be the last person our customers will meet and therefore it is important that you provide an excellent customer service, giving our customers a positive lasting impression. This role will also involve maintaining displays to areas near the cash desks and general housekeeping duties.

Our ideal candidate will:

· Have previous experience operating a till preferably in a retail environment

· Have excellent people skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of customers

· Be a naturally friendly and helpful person

· Be well presented, organised and punctual

· Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude

· Be flexible and adaptable to change

· Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own
