Oxford Active Ltd are recruiting for qualified Lifeguards to work at Bishopsgate Rd, Englefield Green, Egham TW20 0YJ during the school holidays. Work available Easter half term, May half term and Summer holidays.

Hours and Dates

All camps run Monday to Friday during school holidays. The site is closed on bank holidays. Lifeguard hours include 10am-4pm, but this may vary depending on the needs of the site.

Your Duties

• Lifeguarding duties while children are using the pool.
• Conduct daily swim tests with all children before allowing them to swim.
• Supervising children during lunchtimes or other activities.
• Ensuring that children are kept safe by following the camp’s policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, risk assessment and other health and safety issues.
• With other staff, being responsible for keeping premises clean and tidy.
• With other staff, being responsible for the safe keeping of play and sports equipment.
• Administering first aid if appropriate.
• Carrying out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework.
• Working within all agreed policies and procedures.

About You

• · Must have a current lifeguarding qualification
• · Ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with children
• · Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
• · Willingness to undertake appropriate training is appropriate
• · Must undergo strict safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS
