Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Oyster Travel!
Oyster Travel have been nominated three years in a row as the Top Travel Agency in the East Anglia by TTG and we are looking for a fun, knowledgeable and well-travelled person to join our Oyster family.
Key responsibilities:
- To sell and book holidays by establishing the customers travel needs to provide the right product and destination.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through genuine relationship management and a desire to exceed customer needs.
- Capture and record required client information.
- Provide expert travel advice on products and destinations.
- Build rapport with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Extend product and destination knowledge through supplier training and own research.
- Proactively identify, take ownership, and resolve customer queries.
- To ensure an excellent standard of customer service is always provided.
- Collecting and processing payments.
- Achieve monthly / annual goals.
- Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas and passports.
- To ensure the company’s values are always demonstrated.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years minimum experience of working within a travel agency.
- A genuine desire to achieve results, both personally and as part of a successful team.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and be comfortable with multi-tasking.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Resilience to deal with complex queries in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of achieving / exceeding targets.
