previous experience of working with animals is essential. Ideally an animal management certificate level 3 or VCA diploma. minimum 5 GSCE passes including maths and english
The main responsibilities for the role will include assisting nurses in the kennels with in-patients, cleaning and setting up kennels for patients, recovering patients from anaesthesia, cleaning and sterilizing kits and equipment, some reception duties and client facing roles, processing urine and blood samples, holding animals for the vet or nurse, collecting patients in the practice ambulance from the branch practice.
Important to be able to work as a group and independently.
Full driving licence required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30.5 per week
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
