What's Expected of You as a Vehicle Technician?

• Appropriately complete work orders including labor and parts that need to be charged.
• Test vehicles using measuring equipment and report diagnostics to workshop controller.
• Interpret and use technical data and follow instruction from the manufacturer.
• Carry out the routine servicing on vehicles.
• In accordance with manufacturers methodology remove and install components from vehicles.
• Carry out checks and identify any health issues or areas of concern
• Prepare new vehicles.
• ensure any faults have been reported and noted on job cards and inform service manager or workshop controller of any faults not covered in repair
• Perform technical repairs in accordance with documented and established procedures.
• ensure vehicle safety standards have been adhered to before returning customers vehicle
• Ensure vehicles are have been protected while kept clean during work
• Ensure all work adheres to the manufacturers rules and set standards.
