Weekend Receptionist

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Playmania Sheffield are looking for a weekend receptionist to join our busy team on a Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work both days at a weekend.

A receptionist role at Playmania is not a traditional receptionist role - you are on your feet all day and it is expected that you will help across all areas of the business if needed.

What will a typical day look like as a weekend receptionist?

You will be processing bookings, answer the phone, dealing with party admin, clearing tables, helping run food, ensuring cleanliness is kept to a high standard and helping cross into other areas of the business where needed - this may included serving on the café counter, helping to feed and run parties and running food.

All successful applicants will be invited to a practical interview on Wednesday 15th February 4-5pm. You will be required for the full duration. If you arrive late we will not see you.

The practical interview will consist of a few tasks to show your skill sets. We will be observing you throughout and then successful candidates will be invited to come for a trial shift where you will see what the job entails and if you are a good fit for it.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: Up to £10.41 per hour
