Job Title: Refreshments Worker
Location: HMP Wakefield
Responsible To: POPS’ Lead Family Engagement Worker
Hours: 20 Hours per Week (Fri/Sat/Sun/Mondays)
Salary: £9.50 per Hour

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The purpose of the post is to operate the refreshment service in the prison visit hall. The post holder will sell and serve a range of hot and cold snacks and drinks to prisoners and visitors attending weekly visit sessions, maintain cleanliness of the refreshment area and collate stock take and ordering.
TASKS
- To operate the refreshment area in the prison visit hall
- To sell and serve visitors a range of hot and cold snacks and drinks
- Ensure stock availability carrying out weekly stock checks and submitting stock orders.
- Manage sales transactions, including daily till reconciliations
- Work flexibly on rota/shift basis. Including weekend and bank holiday
- Carry out any other work related duties as requested by POPS’ Lead Family Engagement Worker
Operate within the required Health and Safety legislation for food service outlets
Comply with POPS and Prison Policies and Procedures
Job Type: Part-time
