Role Overview & Responsibilities
SMART Repair Paint Technician:
The role will require the successful candidate to carry out SMART and Alloy Wheel repair work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet customer/business requirements and maximise utilisation and productivity.
Main responsibilities and duties:
-Duties will include: refurbishing painted alloy wheels, refurbishing and renovating used cars ready for resale, attending to and repairing scratches, scuffs, and dents, windscreen abrasions/chip repair, general interior refurbishment, and other similar duties. This role should be carried out in a professional and efficient manner and in accordance with technical standards.
-You must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales.
-Works in accordance with workshop and Health & Safety requirements -Works with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness -Ensure standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the mobile SMART repair area -Takes personal responsibility for the daily maintenance of equipment, and reports equipment defects or problems that need attention accordingly -Ensures high standards of health & safety and maintains health & safety records
