Head and Neck Supervisor

The Head & Neck Care Group are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and versatile individual to join the team as a Supervisor for the Maxillofacial, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontic services across Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth and Royal South Hants, Southampton.

This role will involve managing the day to day operations across Maxillofacial, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. This is a fast-paced, ever evolving environment so the post holder will need to be dynamic, professional and flexible.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, good communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and able to effectively organise their own workload. Applicants should have experience of working in a busy outpatient environment and have sound knowledge of the NHS policies/guidance and IT systems.

Good communication skills are essential both in person with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A professional and sensitive manner is required to be maintained at all times. The post holder will be required to display visible, fair and supportive leadership at all times.
