Microbiologist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The working hours are 37.5 per week. Mon - Thu 12.00 to 20.00, Fri 12.00 - 19.30
Duties include:
- Sample processing (plate reading, confirmations etc.)
- Quality control (IQC/EQA/Media QC)
- Reporting of results
- Client liaison (e.g., providing specialist knowledge when requested)
- Supervision of microbiology technicians
- Report authorisation
- Stock management
- Maintain compliance to ISO 17025: 2017
Working on Sunday is required. A day in the week (Mon to Fri) will be given in lieu of working on Sunday.
