Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our operating base at Tolworth, opened in 2002, has become a well-established hub. It is situated just behind the town’s train station, from where it runs an excellent, dense network of routes utilised by the whole community. There are school services, the excellent Kingston University buses, links between residential areas and the shopping facilities at Kingston, routes running into commercial hubs in south London and two corridors into Kingston Hospital.
Being a bus driver is not only about safe driving, it’s customer service. Getting people/children to their jobs/school on time, picking people up having done a day’s shopping, or dropping them to see friends - you will help with it all!
We know that learning to drive a bus and taking the plunge in a different career may seem scary at first.
We’d just like to offer you reassurance and let you know not to worry, we’ll support you if you’ve never driven anything bigger than a car before! Bus driving is an incredible rewarding career, and our training is world-class and builds confidence in all of our trainees.

Trainee & PCV drivers need to have; 12-month road experience on UK roads, no more than 6 points, safe driving and customer service skills
