Role Overview & Responsibilities

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for Aircraft Cleaners at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a temp to permanent role at the Airport.

As a Secure Clean Operative your responsibilities will include:

• Working within a team to focus on the interior cleaning of aircrafts including deep cleaning, turnaround cleaning and intermediate cleaning.
• You will also be required to carry out cleaning of crew room areas and company vehicles.
• Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of
• Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment
• Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces.
• Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification
• Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies
• Clean and sanitise galleys including mopping floors
• Arrange seat belts, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets
• Always maintain a safe working environment, especially when using equipment and PPE.

Shift Patterns

• 40 - 60 hours per week
• 4 on 2 off shift pattern
• A mixture of early and late shifts (5.30am with latest finish 23.00)
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

Person Specification

• No experience is necessary, however ideally you would have commercial cleaning experience
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, supplies and COSHH would be preferred
• Good attention to detail and a meticulous approach to your work
• Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Have no unspent criminal convictions - If you are successful at interview, you will be required to apply for a Criminal Record Check
• Able to pass a basic medical check.

Salary: £11.05 per hour
