JOB DESCRIPTION

Reed Brothers Security is looking for an electronics technician who has experience with programming and networking Access Control and CCTV systems.

On service assignments you will establish positive contact with customer, locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring, adjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation, and process the necessary documentation. Careful attention to detail and follow-through skills are essential. Communication needs to be clear and concise.

Installation assignments will require you to be able to establish positive contact with customer, explain the installation to the customer, install the system in a timely manner, and run the necessary system tests. Preparing necessary documentation is critical.

IDEAL APPLICANT

• Has an excellent driving record
• Programming / Networking experience (Access Control, CCTV, etc)
• Has good communication skills
• Professional and courteous
• Has good customer service skills
• CA Fire Certification (desired, not necessary)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED

• Mechanically inclined
• Knowledge and use of small tools
• Knowledge and use of power tools
• Attention to detail and follow-through
