Role Overview & Responsibilities
Handmade cake company Ridiculously Rich by Alana are looking to hire a travelling Events Trader to travel to various food events from Food Festivals, Carnivals, Animal Shows and more across the UK, selling our delicious cakes and coffee.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling to various food based events
- Set up and maintain an appealing cake display for all customers
- Display excellent customer service skills and promoting the products available to customers
- Maintaining and reporting stock levels and product performance to management
- Keeping a high level of cleanliness and health and safety
- Serving every customer with a smile
- Handling money and occasional banking may be required
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and have a full drivers licence. Role will require travelling, overnight stays and standing for long periods of time.
No previous market trading experience required but a friendly kind attitude is crucial.
Food festivals and similar events are mostly held at weekends, therefore weekend availability is crucial.
Salary: TBC
Starting ASAP.
Applicants need to be based in or near Aberystwyth where stock and event equipment will need to be collected and returned after each event.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
