Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Job description

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
• Making sure all rooms are cleaned and in tip top condition for new arrivals and existing guests
• Working quickly and efficiently so guests aren’t left hanging around
• Liaising with the head housekeeper when rooms are ready for guests
• Ensuring the equipment you use, such as shampooers, polishers and trolleys, is in good working condition
• Being able to use the equipment safely and efficiently
• An awareness of green issue

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

Salary: From £9.60 per hour
