Furniture Assembler

Roger Lewis (part of CE International) has been crafting beautiful furniture for over 30 years. We design and manufacture high quality made to order furniture for the hospitality and contract industry. We invest in our people to create a productive and enjoyable culture.

We are looking for Furniture Assemblers to join our friendly and hardworking team based in our newly refurbished large workshop in Frome. You will work as part of a small team producing a range of sofa's and chairs. You will be trained in all aspects of the production process becoming skilled in frame prepping, upholstering, finishing and packing; using a range of hand tools and compressed air equipment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work to agreed production, health and safety and quality standards. Maintaining a clean and tidy work area as you go and communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the production line.

You will have a flexible approach and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will be a great communicator and work well as part of a team. You will be hard working, organised and have a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable or to be a quick learner with transferable skills.

Monday - Friday: Day shifts

Salary: £21,000 - £25,000
